Kate Kantaria

What do you like most about what you do?

A positive outcome comes with a lot of hard work and I think this is a major motivation for a physician’s daily work.

In your practice, what are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my dedication to work and the responsibilities I’m taking every day, I’m proud to really listen to patients and help them feel they are an active member of the decision-making process.

Why did you choose to work in the field of reproductive medicine?

In my case, the choice of medicine and to be precise reproductive medicine was made at a very early age, which is due to my desire to help people and on the other hand based on the competent advice which was given to me by my mother, who has been working in this field for over 40 years. I’m proud that I took all the advice cos I like helping couples learn about the very exciting technologies and treatments that are available and simply love being in a field that is constantly evolving.

What do you consider your special areas of interest in reproductive medicine?

I have special interests in reproductive endocrinology and embryology.

Share something unique that most people don’t know about you.

Nothing unique about it, but lately I’ve been reading the modern books of my teenage children to find out more about what they like, what they think, and what makes them more interesting.

What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?

I think the most important is family relationships, on which I spend most of the time! I love traveling and actively collecting souvenirs from around the country, I’m enjoying to create family photo albums despite the availability of electronic albums. Besides this, after some time I am going to get interested in simple culinary secrets.
