Dr. Kate’s professional interests include reproductive endocrinology and embryology, which involves preserving fertility for women facing diseases of which treatment could impair ovarian function, as well as women choosing to delay fertility for social or personal reasons. Dr. Kate’s personal practice philosophy stems not only from her clinical expertise, but from her experience as a woman and a mother. She understands the importance of individualized, comprehensive infertility care.
What do you like most about what you do?
Positive outcome which comes after a lot of hard work and I think this is a major motivation for a physician’s daily work.
In your practice, what are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my dedication to the work and the responsibilities I’m taking every day. listening to patients and helping them feel they are an active member of the decision-making process is the most interesting part of my work.
Why did you choose to work in the field of reproductive medicine?
In my case, the choice of medicine and to be precise reproductive medicine was made at a very early age, which is due to my desire to help people and on the other hand based on the competent advises which was given to me by my mother, who has been working in this field for over 40 years. I’m proud that I took all advises cos I like helping couples to resolve infertility problems and simply love being in a field that is constantly evolving.
What do you consider your special areas of interest in reproductive medicine?
I have special interests in reproductive endocrinology, infertility and embryology.
Share something unique that most people don’t know about you?
Nothing unique about it, but lately I’ve been reading the modern literature of my teenage children to find out more about what they like and what they think, these helps me to make relationship with my children more interesting.
What do you do for fun in your spare time? What are your hobbies?
I think most important is family relationship, on which I spend most time!
I love traveling and actively collecting souvenirs from around the country, I’m enjoying to create family photo albums despite the availability of electronic albums. Besides this, after some time I am going to get interested in simple culinary secrets.
